Our Pursuit and Proposal team drives and delivers best practice end-to-end proposal management on qualified opportunities. We deliver project management, value messaging and content development, document design and production, team coordination and presentation support, blending technical skills and strategy to advise our internal functions and teams with spectacular results. And our team is expanding. We’re looking for a Proposals Manager to drive proposal and presentation activities throughout the Propose and Close phases of PwC’s Pursuit Methodology within our vast community of solvers.
Use the know-how you've gained in Bids / Proposals - ideally within a professional services environment (minimum 5 years experience). With new problems to solve, you'll have plenty of support and opportunities to grow. We work from anywhere, so your strong communication skills and team ethos will get a workout. You'll learn plenty as you will play a strong role in championing Pursuit 2.0, PwC’s global framework for creating opportunities and winning work in a workplace that’s human-led and tech-enabled.
As part of the Pursuit and Proposal team you’ll solve problems by helping to articulate the meaningful value we bring to our clients and help win work. As a Proposal Manager you will:
Project Management
Facilitate and manage the end-to-end proposal life-cycle, working closely with relevant stakeholders
Project manage an effective proposal either in response to an RfP or proactive pursuit deliverable
Complete close-out processes for continuous improvement and reporting including contributions to content library and proposal hub
Coordinate with PwC Client Experience team to ensure debriefs are conducted and insights shared to enable continuous improvement
Content Management & Review
Contribute to the proposal strategy to create compelling and client-focused documents and presentation materials
Manage inputs from a variety of stakeholders so content can be created and peer reviewed. This might include MR&I searches, client feedback, citations and liaising with the extended C&M teams (local and global) to bring the best of whole firm offerings
Document management (or oversight to document manager) including liaising with internal design and production teams to deliver high quality proposals and presentations
Develop core content components such as responses to standard questions and review SME draft content to ensure key message articulation
Champion PwC’s brand by leveraging the visual and verbal expression of the Firm
Value Proposition and Proposal Messaging
Assist to develop a compelling and differentiated value proposition
Storyboard response structure
Work with the opportunity team to help them develop proposal messaging
More About You
Exceptional project management, written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts
Self-motivated, detail-oriented and able to manage multi workstream opportunities using Pursuit best practice and project management skills
Strong relationship management, interpersonal and communication skills. Able to quickly forge effective stakeholder alliances
Facilitation skills particularly for sessions designed to establish value propositions and executive summary content
Tactical thinking with an understanding of pursuit strategies and business development knowledge
Highly proficient with digital tools (e.g. Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Mural/Miro, etc)
A passion for producing high-quality work that focuses both on client’s needs and where PwC can deliver value
