Job description

What you will do:
  • Lead proposal development for ANZ opportunities by creating schedules, conducting meetings, writing compliant content, ensuring clear value and differentiation within the document and driving projects to successful completion on time.
  • Help to determine competitive positioning and translate the sales strategy for the deal at hand into high quality, powerful proposals.
  • Write strategic, client-focused proposals that convey client needs and Gartner value proposition.
  • Must lead cross-functional teams and work with sales associates, consultants, contracts, and many other Gartner specialists (e.g. product, pricing, Legal).
  • Create regional proposal program leveraging global proposal best practices.
  • Leverage templates and content designed to promote Gartner brand consistency and ensure strong, accurate client-facing materials.
  • Support both public sector bids and commercial sector proposals worldwide.
  • Support global corporate proposal initiatives such as content libraries, tools, templates and internal trainings.
What you will need:
  • Minimum 5 years of solid proposal writing, proposal development, and/or purchasing experience.
  • Deep experience with ANZ public sector procurement processes in competitive markets.
  • Experience working with additional public sector procurement processes preferred. Global, commercial proposal experience also a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or equivalent required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Extremely strong writing skills and very strong spoken and written English.
  • Strong expertise in MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat/Kofax PowerPDF. Knowledge of Proposal Automation tools a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and complete tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience with successful pre-RFP and capture/BD activities a plus.
