Job description

Searson Buck are seeking an Engineer - PGST for our Client in Burnie. Tasmania
Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Development of test plans for on-machine evaluation of software releases and new features.
  • Execution of Test Cases including operation of underground mining machines, autonomy systems, and technology under test at Client Proving Grounds.
  • Identification of software and system issues on machine including analysis of the related subsystems to assign corrective action tasks.
  • Work with subsystem teams to develop interim and permanent containment actions for issues.
  • Installation and Evaluation of both on and off machine hardware systems.
  • Troubleshooting software and communication issues on machine
  • Interface to machine product group to plan testing schedules and communicate software release plans.
