About the Role
We are seeking 6 first year trainees to join us in 2025. Successful trainees will be immersed in a positive, engaged culture where Registrars are challenged and supported to become exceptional Psychiatrists. We have very high exam success rates, and expect to guide you to completion of RANZCP training in the minimum five years. We provide an extensive variety of core and non-core RANZCP training rotations, all of which are supervised by accredited RANZCP Consultant Psychiatrist Supervisors. We are also passionate about education and research, with a strong connection with Deakin University School of Medicine and the Deakin University Psychiatric Research Unit (IMPACT Strategic Research Centre: https://www.deakin.edu.au/impact)

About The Culture
Barwon Health, based in Geelong and one of the largest and most comprehensive regional health services in Australia, is seeking exceptional medical practitioners to join us as Psychiatry Trainees from February 2025.
We welcome applications from doctors wishing to commence psychiatry training. Successful applicants will join a cohort of 31 Psychiatry Registrars at Barwon Health undertaking rotations within Barwon Health, Private Hospitals and Mercy Health in Werribee who are currently completing accredited psychiatry training with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP).
