Good Start offers a strong professional development program, frequently sourcing external providers for training. In recent years, we have engaged in lengthy training in TEAM-CBT, neurofeedback, IFS, family therapy and ACT. If you love PD, we are a destination clinic.

  • The psychologist is required to engage in professional development consistent with AHPRA’s requirement for psychologists who are actively registered and practising.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Psychology (Honours): Essential.
  • Full Registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia : Essential.

All screenings (Working with Children, NDIS disability clearance) provided by Good Start, if required and you don't have them already.

 Personal attributes:

  • Positive outlook.
  • Continuous improvement mindset.
  • Confident, assertive and self-motivated.
  • Model professionalism through own behaviours and performance.
  • The ability to gain others' support for ideas and solutions.
  • Build relationships and foster teamwork and co-operation throughout the business.
  • Demonstrate resilience and the ability to function well when required and maintain self-control in the face of challenges.
