Overview
The Women's and Children's Health Network provides state of the art health care for women and children in Adelaide and South Australia.
We are the state's leading provider of specialist care for children with acute and chronic conditions and SA's largest maternity and obstetric service. We also provide important community-based services, of which the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) is an integral part.

About CAMHS
The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) is a free community-based tertiary mental health service provided through the WCHN across South Australia, providing care to those with severe and/or complex mental health needs. CAMHS provides services to: infants / children / young people up to 18 (16 in some areas) for community, statewide and hospital-based services / perinatal women.
Child Protection Services (CPS) is a specialist multi-disciplinary health service in the Women's and Children's Hospital that provides a range of comprehensive forensic and clinical psychosocial services to support children where there is a suspicion of child abuse and/or neglect; and treatment services to children and their families, where abuse and/or neglect has been confirmed.

The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists within CAMHS - Child Protection Service to join us as Clinical Coordinator (Psychologist/Social Worker).
Role Responsibilities:
- Ensure effective leadership, advice and support is provided to all CPS staff.
- Provide clinicians with support and guidance for ongoing skill development in the areas of assessment and therapy.
- Undertake delivery of complex forensic psychosocial assessments to determine the occurrence and effects of abuse/neglect.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in relation to negotiation, liaison and conflict resolution.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate staff, and coordinate the work of others effectively.
- Experience in providing direct clinical services to children, adolescents and their families experiencing trauma or a wide range of emotional and behavioural disturbance.
- Demonstrated clinical experience in the field of child protection and child and adolescent mental health.
- Sound theoretical knowledge in the field of child protection and child and adolescent mental health.
