CAMHS provides services to: infants / children / young people up to 18 (16 in some areas) for community, statewide and hospital-based services / perinatal women.Child Protection Services (CPS) is a specialist multi-disciplinary health service in the Women's and Children's Hospital that provides a range of comprehensive forensic and clinical psychosocial services to support children where there is a suspicion of child abuse and/or neglect; and treatment services to children and their families, where abuse and/or neglect has been confirmed.Stay connected with our Network! • Ensure effective leadership, advice and support is provided to all CPS staff.
• Provide clinicians with support and guidance for ongoing skill development in the areas of assessment and therapy.
• Undertake delivery of complex forensic psychosocial assessments to determine the occurrence and effects of abuse/neglect.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in relation to negotiation, liaison and conflict resolution.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate staff, and coordinate the work of others effectively.
• Experience in providing direct clinical services to children, adolescents and their families experiencing trauma or a wide range of emotional and behavioural disturbance.
• Demonstrated clinical experience in the field of child protection and child and adolescent mental health.
• Sound theoretical knowledge in the field of child protection and child and adolescent mental health.
