NewPsych has engaged a highly professional and experienced Clinical Support, External Relations, Communications and Accounts Teams who work together to ensure that the systems and technology you use are efficient and cutting edge to support you to do what you do best – provide exceptional clinical care.
NewPsych hold a large existing referral base, including excellent long term relationships with GPs and over 100 businesses from various industries including education, health and heavy industry where we support their employees by delivering EAP clinical services.
Our clinical work is varied, including psychological support to clients, and peer support via clinical supervision. We also develop and deliver corporate services including education and training, critical response and a range of workplace clinical services including health and wellbeing programs and workplace interventions.

Wellbeing and Professional Development
NewPsych is based in the heart of Newcastle CBD and only a short walk to the beach. Some of our team go swimming and surfing during their breaks! Our unique purpose-built space is filled with trees and greenery and was designed as a safe and respectful space for both you and your clients.
We know that giving to clients is only sustainable if you take care of your own wellbeing. NewPsych offer flexible days as well as family friendly hours from early mornings into the late evenings. NewPsych understands the impact of our work and has an EAP so it’s easy for you to take care of yourself.
Our Clinical Support Team ensures you’re never overloaded, that your caseload is balanced and that you have all the support you need from within the team.
NewPsych is a collaborative and supportive workplace with a team of experienced clinicians (health, clinical, organisational, forensic) on hand to share and learn from as well as direct access to the Team Consultant (available an hour a day) and the Clinical Director so you have the support you need to flourish.
We offer weekly peer supervision as well as at least monthly individual supervision to support you in your professional development. Clinical supervision is available towards registration and membership of the APS College of Clinical Psychologists.
About the role
- The positions are for at least two days per week to full time
- We offer flexible and family-friendly hours
- As a member of our team, we provide you with exceptional clinical support in terms of reception, administration and referrals to allow you to focus on what you do best – clinical work in your areas of expertise.

- You are a provisionally or fully registered psychologist dedicated to delivering the highest quality evidence-based psychological support to our clients
- You are committed to clinical supervision and continual professional development
