Salary: $71,444 to $125,510 plus superannuation and annual leave loading
Provisional Psychologists will be considered
Location: Geoffrey Pearce Correctional Centre (GPCC) and Dillwynia Correctional Centre (DILCC) at Francis Greenway Correctional Complex

About us
Corrective Services NSW runs the state's correctional centres, supervises offenders in the community, and delivers programs to reduce reoffending, support reintegration and build safer communities.
About the role
The Intensive Drug and Alcohol Treatment Program (IDATP) consists of medium, medium/ high and high risj incarcerated male and female offenders.
It is a therapeutic program designed to address substance dependence and offending behaviour.
It takes a holistic approach with participants required to engage in education and/or employment whilst in the program.
Upon successful completion of the program participants are provided with maintenance sessions and reintegration support both in custody and the community from the IDATP through care team.
Reporting to the Senior Management Team, you will be delivering group-based therapy alongside your co-facilitator and some adjunct individual psychological intervention, as required.
About you
A positive minded psychologist who is collaborative in their approach and able to effectively build positive relationships within a multidisciplinary team environment
Provisional or Full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a ‘Psychologist' is required, along with some professional experience in working with individuals with challenging behaviours. (Experience in conducting group therapy is highly desirable).
