The Role
School based Psychologist

Full-time position - 1 year contract
In this position, you will be providing high quality psychological services to students, to enable them to achieve academic success, psychological health and social and emotional wellbeing.
As an experienced, passionate and professional Psychologist, you will:
- be able to work effectively with students and their families and apply a range of evidence-based interventions and counselling appropriate for different issues and stages of development.
- capacity to maintain confidentiality, discretion and deal respectfully with sensitive student matters and personal information.
- have a sound understanding of the Child Safe Standards and a commitment to the safety and wellbeing of children.
- have highly developed interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively and with a variety of school teams.
Relevant qualifications and experience: have demonstrated knowledge and experience in the administration of various Psycho-educational assessment tools where you will be able to conduct and advise on specialist assessments of cognitive, emotional and behavioural needs of students.
- Hold tertiary education in Psychology
- Valid Working With Children and Police Check
- Have registration with AHPRA
- Experience working with young adults (preferred)
