About Balanced: Mind Body Life
Balanced is a team of passionate Psychologists (and our mental health savvy Dietitian) supporting clients with complex mental health concerns. Our current team has a reputation within the niche area of eating disorder treatment, however the practice is now expanding our offering to provide therapy to a broader range of mental health presentations so this advertised position will involve a diverse caseload. We place great importance on both our clients and our clinicians feeling comfortable and supported at our practice and are very much looking forward to welcoming some new team members.
We can offer you:
- This is a salaried role with superannuation and paid leave. Number of working days is negotiable on application.
- We are a values-based organisation, recognising the importance of inclusivity, evidence-based practices, and social justice. We also value self-care and support our team to achieve a work-life balance. We can offer some flexibility with working hours.
- We have a down-to-earth team who prioritise debriefing/socialising over lunch together during our workday, and enjoy the occasional social event together outside of hours too
- Our practice is set within a beautiful homely setting, with a cosy waiting room to welcome clients, a shared dining space overlooking our garden, and thoughtful provisions in the rooms (e.g. sensory fidgets, weighted blankets).
- Client load is capped at a maximum of five per day, allowing ample opportunity to complete clinical administrative tasks
- Support to tailor your specific interest areas within your caseload
- Multiple inclusions such as internal group supervision and access to additional supervision with Senior Psychologists, in-house professional development opportunities, and resource sharing.
- For the right person, support towards clinical endorsement may be considered (if applicable).
Essential criteria:
- Eligible for a Medicare provider number
Desirable:
- Interest, training and skills in the treatment of complex presentations including trauma, neurodiversity, obsessive-compulsive conditions, and/or eating disorders.
We invite interested clinicians to contact us at *****@balancedtas.com. Please forward your resume or request a call-back from Jodie or Meg to discuss your application further.
Applications close COB Wednesday 17th July 2024.
