Role and Responsibilities:
As a Psychologist or Social Worker with Virtual Psychologist, you will have the unique opportunity to work remotely as long as you have a strong and secure internet connection. Your primary responsibilities will include providing mental health services to a diverse clientele that encompasses youth, new mums, disaster-affected individuals, emergency services personnel, and many others.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting text-based counseling sessions.
- Conducting video and audio counseling sessions.
- Assisting clients in distress, including those affected by disasters and emergencies.
- Providing support and therapeutic interventions tailored to each client's needs.
- Working autonomously while attending online team meetings and supervision.
- Adhering to Virtual Psychologist's ethical guidelines and professional standards.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Australian qualification in Psychology or Social Work.
- Australian liability and indemnity insurance.
- Proficiency in providing remote mental health services via text, video, and audio.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and with a diverse range of clients.
- Access to a reliable and secure internet connection.
Benefits:
- Flexible working hours - choose your own schedule but minimum shift availability must be 4 hours.
- Select your options to work across 6 days per week but once you have chosen your shifts you cannot vary from week to week.

Pay Scale:
Virtual Psychologist offers a competitive pay scale starting from $60 per hour (Plus superannuation), depending on your experience and qualifications. We recognize and value the expertise and dedication of our team members, and our pay structure reflects that commitment.
