This position operates as a member of an integrated, multidisciplinary mental health team with a focus on planning and provision of clinical care and therapeutic interventions within a recovery and trauma informed framework.About youOur ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- As a member of the multidisciplinary team, deliver competent level Psychology/Social Work/Occupational Therapy clinical services to consumers with complex mental health and alcohol and other drug treatment needs based on valid and reliable evidence, in accordance with professional practice, ethical and mental health standards to ensure culturally appropriate consumer focused outcomes.
- Actively participate in the multidisciplinary team by providing discipline specific clinical advice and contribute to the development of treatment and discharge planning and service provision.
- Participate in the identification, development, and implementation of clinical practices, procedures and protocols and other quality and service improvement and research activities within the Mental Health Service to continually improve consumer care.
