Your Opportunity

We seek a PTA Assessor & Mixed Mode Officer for the SEE program (Skills for Education and Employment.) This role will cover our sites across Perth including, Gosnells, Cannington, Armadale, West Perth, and Fremantle. We are looking for the right candidate interested in a part-time position with 25 hours per week.

Responsibilities: 

Mixed Mode Officer:

• Create Tasks and support the management of Mixed Mode task bank in readiness for MM weeks throughout the calendar year. 
• Familiar with LWA's Guidelines for best practice course design and delivery in the SEE Program.
• Collaborate with teachers regarding class needs and appropriate tasks.
• Responding to changes as directed by the Mixed Mode Facilitator or Program Manager

Assessor:

• Reviewing 13 ACSF indicators
• Writing up assessments against the ACSF in accordance with Department of Education and Training requirements. 
• Admin Duties - writing reports and other general administration tasks.
• Adaptable to change requests by the SEE Manager and Coordinators
• Ensure practices and processes adhere to Standards for RTOs

Selection Criteria: 

Essential:

• Experience in teaching Adult Literacy and/or Adult ESL
• Knowledge of ACSF
• A teaching qualification and/or Post Graduate teaching specialist qualification
• National Police Clearance
• Working with Children Check
• Cert IV Training and Assessing (TAE 40110, including TAELLN411 and TAEASS502) or TAE 40116 

Desirable:

• Knowledge of Certificates in General Education for Adults CGEA
• TAESS00011 Assessor Skill Set or (TAESS00001 plus either TAEASS502 or RAWASS502A or TAESS502B)
• Knowledge of Certificates in EAL Frameworks
• Knowledge of Standards for RTOs (2015)
