Public Area Attendant Position Overview:
We are seeking diligent and detail-oriented Public Area Attendants to join our team on a casual basis. The Public Area Attendant plays a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and appearance of all Public Areas within the hotel, including lobbies, corridors, restrooms, and other guest spaces. This position requires a proactive individual with a strong work ethic and a commitment to upholding our hotel's standards of excellence.
Positions Available:
- Monday to Thursday, 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain all Public Areas of the hotel, including but not limited to lobbies, corridors, elevators, and restrooms, according to established standards and procedures.
- Sweep, vacuum, mop, and polish floors.
- Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
- Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper disposal of waste.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and linens as needed.
- Collaborate with other members of the housekeeping team to ensure efficient operations.
Room Attendant Position Overview:
We are seeking multiple Housekeeping Attendants to join our team on a casual basis, reporting to the Executive Housekeeper. You'll be responsible for cleaning guest rooms to a premium standard and will be required to vacuum, dust, clean bathrooms, change linen, make beds and replenish amenities in a timely and efficient manner.
You’ll have interactions with guests, so we’re looking someone who can provide excellent customer service and attend to guest needs in a friendly and professional manner.
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and servicing assigned guest rooms in accordance with hotel standards and procedures.
- Changing bed linens, making beds, and replenishing amenities such as towels, toiletries, and refreshments.
- Dusting furniture, vacuuming carpets, and mopping floors to maintain a clean and tidy appearance.
- Checking and restocking minibars, ensuring that all items are properly displayed and accounted for.
- Reporting any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate department for prompt resolution.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and procedures preferred.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
