The Role:
Reporting to the Clubhouse Operations Manager you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standard of cleanliness, presentation and hygiene in all guest rooms and Public Areas of the Club.
This role will be offered as a Part-Time max term contract for 6 months. The hours will range between 20-25 hours per week, requiring flexible availability to work shifts between 6am starts until 3pm finishes during the week and on weekends.
The key tasks include:
- Cleaning Public Areas such as lobby, lift, stairways and toilets in the Club.
- Ensure all trolleys and housekeeping equipment is clean, tidy and stored appropriately at all times.
- Liaise with various departments to achieve an organized and cohesive approach towards daily operations at the Club.
- Conducting duties such as delivery of linen, towels, roll away beds.
- Responding to member and guest requests in a prompt and professional manner as directed by your Manager whilst maintaining and upholding the values of the Club.
- Manual handlining to assist with the setup of events and functions.
- Additional tasks in stores will also be required - managing deliveries and storage, maintaining a systematic and hygienic cleaning schedule, delivering stock to appropriate areas of the Club.
What does the Club need from me?
- Previous experience in a housekeeping, cleaning or other similar role gained within a quality hotel environment is essential.
- Ability to work well in a team as well as independently.
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Reliable and trustworthy.
- Organized and able to meet deadlines.
