Specific roles include receipt and response to notifications of notifiable disease under the Public Health Act, and the investigation of disease outbreaks.People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Registered Nurse - Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and/or previous experience in Public Health or related field.
- Demonstrated experience & knowledge of current issues in communicable disease.
- Understanding of notifiable diseases and the role of the Public Health network in NSW.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team, with organisational and interpersonal skills.
