As a Public Relations Consultant at Media Hunt, you'll have the chance to contribute to exciting projects, collaborate with a talented team, and directly report to our Managing Director.
Roles and duties will include:
- Copywriting (media releases, newsletters, advertorials, EDMs, web copy)
- Media liaison/pitching stories to business, property, news, lifestyle, TV and finance journalists
- Planning and attending TV media conferences
- Assistance with development of communication and marketing strategies
- Research and analysis
- Creation of social media content and social media strategies and assist with digital marketing strategies, events, blog content and website content
- Reporting to clients assisted by lead Account Managers and Managing Director
- Maintenance of social media accounts (Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram) on behalf of company
- Office administration
- Assistance to Managing Director
Selection criteria: Completed or near completed undergraduate degree in journalism or communication (PR major preferred). Should possess advanced-level writing skills and understanding of how to write for news. Possess strong oral communication skills, be confident, self-motivated and reliable. A strategic and creative thinker who can deal with multiple tasks and tight deadlines.
Desired class level(s): Bachelor of Communications/Journalism/Media, Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Arts /Laws, Bachelor of Marketing/Digital Marketing.
Software/Program knowledge: Microsoft office suite, Canva, Social Media e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook.
