Public Relations Officer

Reporting to the Marketing & Communications Manager as part of the highly collaborative marketing team, this specialist role is responsible for managing the Public Relations for the company, to elevate and strengthen our reputation among key audiences.

In this position you will;

• lead the PR activity on all marketing campaigns, including brand, tactical, trade and new products with key internal and external stakeholders.
• manage all inbound and outbound media relations for a diverse portfolio of brands.
   

Specific duties include but are not limited to;

• planning and preparing compelling media releases.
• preparing and creating visual, audio and electronic media materials.
• fostering relationships with key media influencers.
• monitoring competitor activity.
• managing enquiries from the media.
• organising special events such as product launches to media.
• planning and preparing online or printed materials for print, digital or social media.
• media coverage reporting 
   

The ideal candidate will have;

• a minimum of 2 years experience in Public Relations with proven ability to generate earned media opportunities. 
• established relationships with relevant media - food & outdoor publications.
• The successful candidate will have a strong ability to organise, plan and structure their workload in an often fast paced environment, work well under pressure and meet deadlines. You will be results driven and work well autonomously and collaboratively in a team.
