u&u is partnering with a collaborative and innovative organisation that is dedicated to delivering exceptional customer and consumer experiences all while being the largest independent importer in their industry. Our client works in collaboration with their retail partners to deliver products to consumers while upholding service excellence through a dedicated team of passionate and experienced employees. This role is a 6 month temporary assignment.
The Role:

Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Maintaining the purchasing relationships with suppliers;
• Creating inbound shipment records within 48 hrs on receipt of commercial invoice;
• Generating accurate container costing of inbound shipments within 24 hrs of freight invoice;
• Inputting and maintaining the monthly purchase orders with suppliers;
• Monitoring and scheduling inbound containers into designated warehouses;
• Receipting containers upon confirmation of receipt from warehouses;
• Completing stock adjustments as requested;
• Reviewing shipment status and expedite supply of imported products;
• Inputting Stock Transfers as requested;
• Maintaining open purchase order data accuracy; and
• Other tasks as determined by the S&OP team leaders.

About U:

To be successful within this position, you will also possess the following:

• Minimum of two years' experience in a similar role;
• Highly developed written and oral communication;
• Highly proficient in the use of MS Office suite;
• Ability to work autonomously; and
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
