About the Role:
We’re on the lookout for a proactive and skilled Purchasing and Planning Lead to join our team located in Bayswater North. Reporting to the Purchasing, Stores, and Logistics Manager, you’ll be the primary contact for suppliers, manage invoicing, and oversee supplier performance to ensure punctual delivery and adherence to quality standards.
As the Purchasing and Planning Lead at CTS, you’ll oversee technical Purchasing and production planning activities to achieve our project, production, and delivery goals. You’ll play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our ERP, Purchasing, and Stores Processes to meet the company’s evolving needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct technical buying and supplier audits to maximise value and minimise risk.
- Ensure precise generation of sales orders, shippers, and invoices.
- Maintain robust relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Control inventory and coordinate production schedules to meet customer demand.
- Manage logistics to support company activities and uphold QMS compliance.
Required Skills & Knowledge:
- Tertiary qualification in manufacturing, supply chain, or operation planning.
- APICS qualification and Australian Security Clearance (DISP).
- Experience in demand Planning, forecasting, and logistics management.
- Proficiency in QAD or similar ERP systems.
- Outstanding communication skills and proven people management capabilities.
