The Successful Applicant
Ideally the successful applicant will have extensive experience in a similar role and industry. You will possess a desire to contribute to our strong, outcome focused team and along with this, you will be responsible for the following:
- Control and manage materials in all store areas.
- Ensure deliveries are on schedule and materials received are to specification.
- Ensure all purchases are from approved suppliers and that all materials meet our and food safety requirements.
- Troubleshooting Purchasing and Supply chain issues through high level of communication in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, to deliver integrated supply chain solutions and avoid risk of non-supply or delays to customers.
- Maintain the purchase order management system and report analysis so that it is up to date with direct Manager.
- Ensures good stock rotation and overseeing stock take of materials.
- Manage and process purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
- Assist stores team when required
- Other duties as directed by direct National Procurement Manager.
Requirements:
- Experience in a similar role in a Food Manufacturing Company -
- Good communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Attention to detail
- Order Entry systems experience - ERP Exposure
- Organisational skills and an ability to plan
- Current drivers licence
- Current Forklift licence highly desirable
