The Role
This 3–month contract that will go temp to perm will be suitable for an immediately available or soon to be immediately available Accounts Officer, who will report directly to the Assistant Accountant.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Maintain and update financial records and statements.
- Process invoices, receipts, and payments accurately and promptly.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure discrepancies are resolved.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Manage accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely collections and payments.
- Support the preparation and monitoring of budgets.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure financial accuracy and integrity.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support.
- Other ad hoc accounting duties as required by the Accounting team.
About You
If you are an experienced Accounts Officer looking to take your career to the next level, then this role is for you. Ideally you would be qualified or partly qualified and have a hands-on approach.
Skills and Experience:
- 1-2 years' experience within a commercial business.
- Experience using Xero
- CPA / CA qualified or studying - desirable.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
