We are excited to present you with an opportunity to explore your place within our ambitious team.About the roleDue to a period of growth, our Brisbane Engineering team are looking for qualified Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers to join our team on a full-time basis. The LAME is responsible to the Senior Base Engineer (SBE) for the performance and completion of assigned aircraft maintenance tasks. You will also be responsible to the Safety and Quality Manager (SQM) and Maintenance Manager (MM) for the supervision and certification of aircraft maintenance on behalf of Engineering.Your duties will include:Completion of all scheduled and unscheduled Line Maintenance tasks as required, ensuring aircraft maintenance, maintenance documentation and certification are completed in accordance with the applicable Instructions for Continuing Airworthiness, Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE), Procedures Manuals and responsible CAMO requirements,Assist and supervise allocated AME’s, Apprentices and TA’s.Be responsible for the general condition, upkeep and housekeeping of any hangar, workshop or related work areas and vehicles, ensuring all issued Aircraft Parts, Standard Parts or Materials are stored compliantly in accordance with the MOE.Be responsible for personal tool control and accountability of all tool and equipment used in maintenance.Ensure conformance to the Fatigue Risk Management System (FRMS) and compliance with Engineering Work Health and Safety Management System (WHSMS) policy and proceduresSupport and promote the Safety Management System (SMS), Quality Management System (QMS) and a Just CulturePerform any other duties as directed by the Leading hand, SBE or BMPSTo be considered for this position with NJE, we require the below as mandatory pre-requisites:Certificate IV in Aeroskills or equivalent aircraft maintenance engineering apprenticeship trainingAbility to undergo and pass a pre-employment Drug and Alcohol testAbility to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Cardhold a current Aircraft Maintenance Engineering License issued by Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) Australia with the applicable B2 categories.Preference will be given to applicants holding type ratings on:DHC-8-Q400 | PW150Embraer E190 | GE CF34What NJE can offer you Possible relocation assistance to be discussed with suitable applicants.Rex Group Staff travel benefits.As part of the REX group of companies, staff discounts and privileges apply, including, Health Clubs and Hotels.A company that values each and every employee offering professional growth.How to applyIf you are interested in this position, please apply with an updated resume and CASA License outlining your experience relevant to the role and mandatory requirements via this portal, or by email to eng.recruitment@nje.aeroA member of our Recruitment team will review your application and shortlisting may begin immediately.
