Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting daily inspections and quality assurance checks in production areas.
- Ensuring compliance with food safety procedures and regulations through audits and documentation.
- Managing equipment calibration and testing for optimal performance.
- Coordinating hygiene and safety programs, including training and compliance with standards.
- Driving continuous improvement through investigations, reporting, and training initiatives.
- Confident understanding of HAACP and allergen control requirements.
- Excellent mathematical skills and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong focus on safety and good knowledge of safe work practices.
- Previous quality control experience preferred.
- Bachelor of Food Science/Microbiology highly regarded.
- Positive, energetic and hardworking attitude.
- Comfortable handling cheese product.
- Availability to work the day shift.
- Own vehicle and current driver's license.
