UGL has been awarded a two year Lithium construction project in the South-West region of WA.
We will be constructing two additional processing trains at the plant, to increase production of up to 100,000 metric tonnes per annum of lithium hydroxide, supporting the manufacturing of an estimated 2.4 million electric vehicles annually.
About the role: We're looking for a Quality Control (QA/QC) Lead to champion quality practices and standards on our construction sites. As a key player, you'll ensure that quality is top-of-mind for our team, driving a positive quality culture and maintaining strong relationships with project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Quality Culture among construction teams.
- Build and nurture relationships with Project and Key Stakeholders.
- Assist in creating Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) for Civil and Electrical scopes of work.
- Survey, Monitor, Check, Verify, and sign off Compliant work in line with relevant ITPs.
- Perform Surveillance and Dilapidation reports on materials and Sub-Contractors.
- Report and implement corrective actions for Non-Conformances.
- Implement and maintain Documentation for MDR submission.
- Conduct internal audits as per the Project Audit Schedule.
- Issue Quality Notices to ensure uniform and correct installation of works.
- Organize and lead FATs and Client Walkdowns for project handovers.
- Ensure successful implementation of the Quality Management Plan for all project scopes.
Requirements:
- Degree, Trade, or Certificate in a related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in a Quality inspection role.
- Sound knowledge of AS/NZS ISO9001 & AS/NZS3000.
- Familiarity with Quality legislation, industry standards, and best practices.
- Understanding of construction team operations and processes
