BT Equipment Pty Ltd trading as 600 Cranes Australasia is a Tutt Bryant owned business. 600 Cranes Australasia is now in its 24th year of operation.
600 Cranes Australasia distributes some of the world’s highest quality brands in the vehicle loading crane industry. We also specialise in crane attachments, Hooklifts, and Minicranes.
Full training and strong support will be offered from head office based in Melbourne and also people based locally and working from the same premises.
Would suit anyone with a mechanical background from other fields with experience in 12/24v electrical systems, hydraulics or fabrication an advantage.
Duties will include overseeing the completion of crane installations, crane servicing and crane repairs, ensuring jobs are of a high quality using best work practices and completed in a safe and timely manner.
We are seeking an enthusiastic candidate that can lead and work within a team environment. The successful applicant will have the ability and motivation to utilise workshop staff and assist our QLD agents so as to successfully drive growth in the QLD Product Support business.
Strong communication skills will be needed to liaise with customers, QLD agents, company management, sales staff, and other internal staff.
Other requirements include
- Absolute commitment to the highest safety standards in the work place
- Recognised trade certificate/qualification
- Current full driving licence. A truck licence is also highly desirable
- Hydraulic (able to read/understand basic hydraulic drawings)and basic automotive electrical knowledge (understanding of basic electrical schematics is highly desirable)
- Eye for detail so as to support quality outputs including complete paperwork and some data entry
- Basic computer skills
