About the Position

Hidden Valley Ford are looking for Qualified Automotive Technician to join our friendly service team. Reporting to the Service Manager, these full-time positions will suit genuine, dynamic people with high work ethic.

The ideal candidate will be a professional who is confident in all aspects of diagnosis and repair, who can step into our workshop and get the job done, with no supervision.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

• Perform a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks on light vehicles
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections, diagnose issues accurately, and provide effective repair solutions.
• Carry out routine servicing, including oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
• Utilize the latest diagnostic equipment, technical manuals, and tools to efficiently troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical problems.
• Ensure all repairs and maintenance tasks are completed to the highest quality standards within specified timeframes.
• Keep accurate records of repairs, parts used, and labor hours.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

About You

To be considered for this position, you must:

• Be a qualified service technician (minimum Cert III) and hold a current manual drivers’ licence.
• Have experience working on a range of makes and models with strong diagnostic and repair skills.
• Have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude and be a team player. 
• Have full  Australian working rights. 
• Previous Ford/Subaru/Audi/BMW experience desirable but not essential.
