ugl defence was recently awarded an asset management, operations and maintenance contract for the defence fuels network.  we are currently seeking expressions of interest for tanker truck drivers and operators to work with the raaf. this a unique and exciting opportunity to work within a team of defence personnel while enjoying the benefits of working with a tier 1 service provider. work as one team and perform the delivery of fuel to the raaf and other defence stakeholders on base. the role reporting through to a ugl leading hand or supervisor, your day-day direction will come from the commanding officer or similar of the particular squadron you will be working with. these duties will include, but not limited to; operate fuel tanker truck around the fuel installation and the defence base work closely with operator to safely load your fuel tank truck with required fuel deliver the fuel to the designated fuel point i.e., refuelling point, aircraft on the runway etc operate pumps on tanker truck to ensure effective delivery of fuel to aircraft communicate with internal and external team to ensure good customer experience what you need you will be a strong team player, a self-starter and dedicated employee that will draw on your experience and diverse skills to deliver high quality outcomes for ugl and our customer. we expect the successful applicants to have the following mc, hc or hr driver licence dangerous goods handling licence proven experience operating heavy vehicles is essential experience in the fuel service and/or defence industry will be highly regarded good communicator and ability to work in a diverse team current holder, or ability to obtain relevant security clearances what we offer this is an opportunity to join ugl as a full-time employee, on a long-term contract within the defence sector. a unique chance to work with and be apart of a defence team and support the delivery of national security in australia. competitive hourly rates with market leading company benefits long-term opportunity, with locational stability; work close to home for as long as you want!!    work with a great crew of people from ugl and the defence love coming to work everyday and be apart of something bigger! as a diversified services organisation, ugl appreciates the diversity and richness of its people, and seeks to create inclusive environments that promote your talent and skills. to express your interest in this position, please submit your application by applying to the advert and answer screening questions as prompted. ref # - 256960
