We specialise in multi-discipline packages including suspended ceilings, CFC and external cladding, steel & timber frame installation, office fit-outs & insulation. Due to our ever-expanding carpentry & façade portfolio of large long-term contracts right through 2024 & 2025, on a variety of projects across the Perth metropolitan region both north and south of the Perth CBD we are seeking a qualified carpenter to join the Hybrid Linings Team.
We are offering permanent full-time employment, with an ongoing basis of work. With great opportunities available to the right candidates. Salary package of $85,000 + 11% super.
Qualified Carpenters / Facade Installers
You will be working with a dynamic team responsible for the installation of a broad range of cladding systems / Internal Fit-Outs / Framing using multiple materials depending on your experience and expertise. You will be adding to our team of likeminded carpenters delivering quality installations to some of Perth’s leading contractors.
Tasks & Responsibilities (included, but not limited to):
- Site installation of façade aluminum & CFC cladding on commercial buildings with an extensive knowledge of solid panel cladding, metal cladding, cement sheet cladding.
- Framing, set-out and fixing.
- Actively contribute to toolbox meetings.
- Undertaking all aspects of the carpentry trade, including construction, installation, & repairs of new & existing structures.
- Be committed to following quality & safety procedures & able to identify, report, & rectify any hazards.
- Ability to site measure, read and interpret and work from plans.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- Candidates must have 3+ years’ experience in the construction industry with Carpenter qualifications..
- Must have a good understanding of construction standards, connection details, build up & the use of proper construction techniques specific to cladding scope of work.
- Able to work both in teams & independently. Be proactive, good at timekeeping, reliable & have a strong work ethic.
- Strong communication skills with own range of tools in your tool kit.
- Valid Class C driver’s license with your own transport capable of carrying tools and equipment.
- If required you must be able to pass pre-employment medical, D&A and Police Check requirements.
- Construction white card (Mandatory), EWP & Working at heights tickets (Desired).
