About Discovery Early Learning Centres:

Lauderdale Early Learning Centre has been purpose-built to provide an innovative and dynamic learning environment, including a central hub room that brings children together and creates a sense of community and belonging. Our service offers a unique nature-based outdoor environment, which includes large gardens, trees, and a purpose-built creek for water play, chickens and a fire pit.
We offer Long Day Care, Preschool programs and Outside School Hours Care including, Before School, After School and Vacation Care. We understand every family has different needs and, with this in mind, we offer care on a full-time or part-time basis. Occasional care and casual care are available where a vacancy exists.
The role:
We are seeking qualified Educators to join our professional team. Ideally, we are seeking full-time staff, with availability across Monday - Friday, however, we are able to offer flexibility for the right candidate. Please reach out to discuss how we can work together to meet your individual needs.
We are dedicated to providing high-quality early education programs for children in a safe, secure, challenging and nurturing environment that is rich, flexible and encourages learning, curiosity, creativity and exploration. You will work with children in our spectacular indoor and outdoor facilities, supported by a team of experienced managers.
Duties:
- Observe children to identify individual needs, interests, and developmental progress
- Assist with Educational programming and routines
- Work collaboratively with other educators to coordinate activities
You must have:
- Any ACEQA-approved qualification (or studying towards)
- Current employment class, Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable Persons Registration
- Regular availability and flexibility to work a range of shifts during our opening hours
