Oreflow is also the Australian master distributor of Brelko Conveyor Products. Brelko, located in South Africa, is internationally recognised and has specialised in manufacturing conveyor spillage control products since 1987.

As a trade-qualified Fitter, the successful candidate will have proven experience at an expert level in preventative and breakdown maintenance of plant and equipment using Brelko components.

About the Role

The primary function of this role is to ensure the expert preventative and breakdown maintenance of client plant and equipment is carried out to exacting standards and in a timely and cost-effective manner.

You must read and execute detailed engineering drawings for our various equipment and projects as they arise to the relevant Australian safety and engineering standards.

Applying your technical knowledge and skills, you will provide input into root cause analysis and subsequent resolution of issues affecting equipment reliability.  This role requires initiative, thorough workflow process completion, and a detailed understanding of operational and technical equipment and manufacturing guidelines.

As a company representative interacting with clients, this role will maintain excellent relationships, ensuring contractual expectations, deadlines and requirements are met while being professional. Also, you will liaise with QA/QC, the client, drafting, suppliers, internal teams, and purchasing regarding all QA matters, including inspections, ITPs, transmittals, MDR and manuals to ensure timely execution of capital projects.

This role will provide technical leadership for on-site projects and deliver solution support for maintenance, breakdowns, and commissioning and de-commissioning of time-critical plant and equipment.

About You

Must have a relevant trade certificate with sound knowledge in proficiently creating/servicing linear vibrating and other mineral processing equipment. The successful candidate will be a highly capable Fitter with specialist knowledge of applying Brelko components. Other "must have" competencies include: 

• Excellent communication skills and collaborative approach to delivering quality work on time and to correct specifications.
• Read, interpret and build to technical drawings, equipment manuals and instructions, and specifications.
• Initiate and complete work orders and ensure timely sign-off/close-off for completed work along with relevant feedback information and other reports as required
• Advanced technical aptitude with expert knowledge of Brelko products

Package: $85k per annum plus Superannuation.
