The position will require the individual to have extensive experience in machinery performance, breakdown repairs, and fabrication.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitoring and reporting of equipment performance.
- Performs computer operations as needed for maintenance department operations, information, and recording including accurate record keeping.
- Carrying out Preventative Maintenance requirements.
- Complete repairs and maintain complex production machinery.
- Learn to operate, setup, and adjust machinery.
- Carry out all general types of welding including, oxy, arc, and tig.
- Complete all tasks within OH&S requirements and regulations.
- Carry out other tasks and roles as required as a team member to meet company objectives and ensure policies are adhered to.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Regular overtime in line with the Preventative Maintenance program and production requirements.
- Availability for work, standard hours, overtime, weekend and on-call.
A number of specific outcomes are included as KPI’s. Assessment will be by unit measure agreed to by negotiation with the successful applicant.
The key performance indicators are:
- Accurate and compliant record-keeping and paperwork
- Cooperation working with the Maintenance team.
- Quality and maintenance of machinery repair.
- Understand and utilize preventative maintenance programs.
- Compliance with regards to policies and procedures inclusive of OH&S
- Experience in working unsupervised on technical and precision equipment.
