About the Role - Join Our Team as an Entry-Level Motor Mechanic!
We are looking for enthusiastic and recently qualified Motor Mechanics to join our Orange Store. Our store is equipped with state-of-the-art and modern equipment.
In this role, you will maintain and repair light vehicles by identifying and rectifying faults, as well as following specific vehicle manufacturer guidelines to deliver an industry-leading level of customer service.
Your day-to-day tasks would include:
- Repairing and maintaining customer vehicles
- Carrying out wheel alignments, wheel balancing, and other wheel/suspension-related services
- Conducting registration checks
- Identifying mechanical faults as well as issues with vehicle stability and tyre wear
- Fitting, rotating, and servicing tyres
- Providing advice and reporting potentially dangerous risks found on customer vehicles
- Safely operating hoists
- Conducting road tests as required
About you:
- Recently Qualified Motor Mechanic
- MVRIA licence (or working towards obtaining it)
- Australian Driver's License
- Good communication skills
- Enjoy working in a team environment
- Excellent time-management and problem-solving skills
- Physically fit and able to carry out day-to-day duties
- Knowledge of WHS in a workshop environment
