About the Role – Motor Mechanic
JAX Tyres & Auto Charmhaven are seeking an experienced Motor Mechanic to join their team. In this role, you will maintain and repair light vehicles through identifying and rectifying faults, as well as following specific vehicle manufacturer guidelines to deliver an industry leading level of customer service.
You will be working in a well-equipped and organised workshop, closely alongside your fellow team mates to deliver an industry leading level of customer service.
Your day-to-day tasks would include.
- Perform repairs, maintenance, and diagnostics on customer vehicles.
- Identifying mechanical faults
- Performing all tasks relating to tyres and wheel/suspension services that JAX Tyres & Auto provide.
- Provide professional advice and report potential hazards / dangerous risks found on customer vehicles.
- Safely Operating hoist and conducting road tests as required.
About you
- MUST hold relevant licences and certifications required to operate as a Motor Mechanic in relevant state or territory.
- 2 or more years’ experience as a qualified Motor Mechanic.
- Available for Saturday (8am to Midday)
- Excellent communication skills, time management and problem-solving skills.
- Be a team player
- MUST be physically fit and able to carry out day-to-day duties
- Knowledge WHS practices
- Experienced and knowledgeable in the automotive tyre industry.
