SalaryJob title: Florist Salary: Hours: Full time (38 hours p/w )Location: Estelles Florist Leanyer NT.
The successful candidate will be responsible in the arrangement and design of flowers and other plant materials. Specifically, the candidate will be responsible for the floral design, arrangement delivery, inventory management, care and maintenance, payment processing, and event decorating. Creates, arranges, and crafts visually appealing and exquisite flower arrangements for various occasions, from weddings to everyday bouquets and center pieces.
Selects appropriate flowers, and other decorative elements based on customer preferences and provide expert advice on flower selection and color schemes
. Maintains and arranges stocks of flowers and other items in a cool area to ensure its freshness and quality
. Trims and cuts flowers to maximize their vase life.
Packs safely and in aesthetically pleasing manner including clients request for message cards, ribbons, and other gifts and deliver the same if requested.
Takes and process customer orders in a friendly manner ensuring accuracy and timely fulfilment of flower delivery.
Keeps up with the current floral design trends, new flower varieties and emerging styles to maintain quality of products and offer fashionable designs to customers.
Keeps track of the floral inventory is well-stocked and ensure diverse selections to meet customer demands. Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience :Minimum qualification is AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV with 2 years full time relevant work experience. At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed above.
In some instances relevant experience and/or on-the-job training may be required in addition to the formal qualification.
