Bethanie Community provides a wide variety of services to clients covering day to day living needs in their own homes including personal care, domestic and gardening services, respite services and social support in Geraldton, Perth and in the South West. We are seeking an enthusiastic, energetic and highly flexible individuals to join our Bethanie Community South team as a part-time Qualified Support Worker supporting our Mandurah/ Peel region where you will be required to travel between different locations. You are required to be available from Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 2:00pm, with additional weekend availability.
About the role:
Professionally deliver a variety of services (including: food, laundry, personal care, leisure, supporting hobbies and interests & domestic cleaning)
Ensure all living areas of clients’ homes are kept clean and tidy, and safe from hazards
All personal care tasks and outcomes are met and documented appropriately
Provide respect and compassion to clients
Support customer with transport to appointments
Provide social support to customers spending time doing the things they love
About you:
A Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support
Previous experience within an Aged Care, or Community Care environment is required
Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
Ability to ensure safety and wellbeing of clients are maintained
Drivers licence, and access to a reliable vehicle
Current National Police Clearance, or willingness to apply for one
Willing to obtain required vaccinations – 3x covid vaccinations and flu vaccination
