We need you to join our team to provide a service to ensure our clients are supported to embrace every opportunity for a better quality of life. You will be responsible to:
- Provide direct care assistance to each individual in accordance with their service plan.
- Work in accordance with the medication administration policy, work health and safety procedures.
- Support individuals to participate in age-appropriate activities and tasks including employment, in home support and community access.
- Support individuals to access activities and outings in the community.
- Monitor the safety and well-being of the individuals
- Implement training and support services aimed at maximising the living, employment, social and recreational skills.
- Promote community inclusion, independence, decision making and personal choice of the individuals.
- Genuine desire to provide the best quality support for people with disabilities
- Reliable character
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to work and communicate effectively with individuals, their families, community organisations and other professionals
- Ability to work in a very busy environment and to work both independently and as part of a team
- Understanding of privacy and confidentiality issues
- Valid WA driver's License
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- First Aid certificate
- A current Working with Children Check
- Certificate III or higher in Disability or other relevant qualification
- Experience in the delivery of personal care services and/or behaviours that challenge is viewed favourably
