Form of workWe have ongoing casual and permanent positions for suitably qualified Mechanical Fitters, Boilermaker/Welders, Mechanical Technicians and Diesel Mechanics. Attractive rates of pay plus overtime.
These positions have a view to permanency for the right people.
You would ideally have the following experience:
- Experience with crane equipment
- Heavy vehicle transmission
- Fitting/machining
- Welding/fabrication
- Hydraulic controls
- Ability to work 12 hour shifts and overtime if required
Additional requirements and information:
- Workshop based in Altona but will be required to deploy to Melbourne Ports
- Attractive hourly rates, $50 per hour, plus overtime.
- Mechanical or BMW trades certificate
- Current drivers' licence
- High risk licence for Forklift and Elevated Platform work
- Hydraulic Experience highly regarded
- Immediate start
