As part of our continued growth, we are currently seeking a qualified, skilled, and experienced Aluminium/Steel welder to join our esteemed team. This pivotal role is responsible for performing various welding tasks in alignment with project specifications and industry standards. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the creation of high-quality products within a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and build diagrams to determine client requirements.
- Select appropriate welding techniques and equipment for each task.
- Prepare materials for welding, including cutting, grinding, and cleaning surfaces.
- Perform welding tasks using various methods such as MIG and TIG.
- Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on welding equipment and tools.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
Qualifications / Skills:
- (Essential) Qualification – Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication (Boilermaking)
- Proven experience as a Welder, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Proven Experience in Aluminium and Steel Welding
- Proficiency in various welding techniques, including MIG Welding.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high quality work.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Excellent problem-solvent skills and the ability to independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
· Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality standards and project requirements.
· Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition.
- Good physical condition with the ability to life and move heavy objects.
· Adhere to safety protocol and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
· Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals and deadlines.
Benefits:
- Excellent Salary ($70,000 to $75,000 plus Superannuation) dependant on qualifications, skills, and experience.
