As a Qualitative Measurement Instruments Specialist, you will be a member of the maintenance team working on an offshore and/or onshore environment with specialist working knowledge of environmental gas and liquid metering analyzer Systems.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities will be:

  • Provide expertise in maintenance, troubleshooting and calibration of all liquid and gas analytical systems and equipment (Gas Chromatographs, Moisture, H2S, O2 & CO2, water in oil, liquid analyzers etc.) and ensures timely and professional execution of planned activities.
  • Ensure all work and activity is carried out with Safety as a priority. Be driven in identifying and proactively reporting potential safety issues both within Emerson and our customer organization.
  • Understand and apply knowledge of asset maintenance software to improve best usage of the facilities contained.
  • Participate in the set-up, configuration, operation, and maintenance of bespoke analytical and measurement software. Set-up and commission common types of analytical systems.
  • Identify and bring to a fully operational state an analytical system for ongoing operations and routine maintenance.
  • Build detailed miss-measurement reports. Deliver information, reports to client or regulatory authorities and securing client commercially critical data or information.
  • Demonstrate and document a full understanding of client expectations, delivery of work scope and provision of a service that fully meets client expectations.
  • Compliance with technical standards in presenting alternative solutions. Follow with local standards and regulations and the commercial sensitivities of the clients operating environment.
  • Identification and application of industry best practices.
  • Identify key areas and lead an auditor on analyzer audits or health checks. Pro-active in eliminating audit findings and in satisfying audit comments.
  • Work within site specific "Safe systems of Work" e.g. Permit to Work, Risk Assessment etc.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Degree qualified in an Engineering or technical qualification within process instrumentation and analyzer fields.
  • Broad range of experience primarily handling fiscal and custody transfer systems in the oil and gas industry - specific to gas/ liquid qualitative and quantitative analysis. Ability to carry out troubleshooting on typical analytical & measurement systems
  • Prior experience in one or more of the following: Tank farms; refineries; LNG plants; Gas Terminals etc.
