NoosaCare is seeking an enthusiastic Quality and Housekeeping Supervisor. This is senior role, supporting and leading our housekeeping, laundry teams and quality administrator. As Quality and Housekeeping Supervisor at NoosaCare you will:
This position is highly important as it directly impacts our residents and their daily life. Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer (COO) and working closely with the broader NoosaCare team. This position will ensure that housekeeping, laundry and quality administration staff are receiving suitable support and direction. This is an agile role that requires a diverse range of skills and abilities including:
- Experience in leading and supervising employees’ and delivering against legislative requirements.
- Support the procurement of high Quality and cost-efficient resources and negotiating with suppliers as required.
- Ability and experience in managing and responding to evolving situations.
- Experience in supervising employee rostering provisions to ensure coverage across all required areas.
- Maintaining and working within all work health and safety legislation.
- Experience working with a diverse demographic.
- Have an eye for detail, strong work ethic and a drive to ensure quality service provision to residents.
- Strong customer service, face-to-face and written communication skills.
Key Performance Indicators include (but are not limited to):
Operations:
- Operate with accountability in the delivery of high-quality cleaning and laundry services.
- Supervise rostering provisions for employees to ensure that resident housekeeping requirements are maintained.
- Work collaboratively with the Clinical Quality Coordinator to support the collation of reports relating to compliance with health and safety regulations, infection control protocols, and environmental standards.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Undertake all documentation requirements across multiple platforms to an exceptional standard.
- Support the development of internal and external reports and audit requirements as necessary.
Quality:
- Support the appropriate management of residents, families and staff feedback and complaints and delivering continuous quality improvements.
- Deliver against establish quality control measures and performance indicators for various departments, including catering, lifestyle activities, maintenance, and property management.
- Maintain confidentiality of information, including information sourced from residents.
About you:
- 3+ years’ experience in providing management or leadership of a team.
- An understanding of Aged Care Standards and their requirements.
- Friendly, positive and respectful attitude.
- Qualifications and/or experience in a relevant discipline is desirable.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to provide high quality service, with attention to detail and a solution focused approach to resolve issues effectively.
- The ability to be accountable, working both as part of a diverse team and autonomously at times.
- High level communication skills and the ability to interpret and coordinate varying forms of communication.
