One of Australia's leading, high quality unit Builder Developers seeks to recruit a Maintenance & Rectification Supervisor to join its Property Aftercare team across its Gold Coast portfolio, focusing on timely resolution of any defective works while ensure high level of customer care.
The position would suit either
- An experienced foreman / supervisor looking for a step-back into a less pressured maintenance role
- A Maintenance / defects supervisor with experience working on units who is looking to work for a leading Builder Developer and explore further opportunities within it's thriving construction division.
Key Responsibilities of the Role:
- Focus on speedy resolution of any defective works
- Directly resolving customer's concerns and issues in a professional manner.
- Hands-on duties where appropriate
- Ensuring all maintenance and warranty work is completed to quality standards.
- Complying with legal obligations such as OH&S, building (BCA), energy, fire & electrical codes.
- Overseeing contractors, tradespeople & suppliers onsite
- Achieving set maintenance and warranty targets all within set timeframes.
- Effectively communicating with all internal and external stakeholders.
Role Requirements:
- At least 2 years experience as a Maintenance Supervisor within the construction industry
- Proven track record of working on unit construction.
- Has worked on high-end units and homes
- Excellent time management
- Multi-trade background will be highly advantageous
- Demonstrated experience within the construction sector with excellent building knowledge
- Ability to work in a fast-paced working environment and ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to build a strong rapport with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Proven track record of problem-solving
- Strong IT skills and computer literacy
