Opportunity
Our Quality & Risk team have an opportunity for a Quality and Risk Officer. Reporting to the Quality & Risk Manager, this position is accountable for assisting with policy updates, forms management, auditing and compliance, updating of quality management systems and assisting with preparation for accreditation and licensing audits. This role also recommends actions to support implementation of quality improvement initiatives, projects, and activities to maintain patient safety, accreditation standards, regulatory compliance and patient experience, in accordance with NSQHS and licensing standards.
- Assist with embedding quality improvement program and promote risk management
- Actively participate in all accreditation processes
- Participation in clinical data collection, collation and analysis
- Participate and coordinate case review investigations
About You
- You will be a Registered Nurse who has a thorough understanding of the NSQHS and LARU licensing standards. You will enjoy working in a fast paced environment, have excellent attention to detail and be a strong advocate for embedding the national standards into daily practice.
- To be successful in your application, you will:
- Hold AHPRA registration (essential)
- have knowledge of national safety & quality healthcare standards
- Have excellent communication skills & a strong desire to partner with internal and external stakeholders and consumers
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Sound computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite & database management
