We advise on analytical methods, sampling techniques and the interpretation of results. The Chemistry Centre's core areas of expertise are: analytical chemistry, water chemistry, soil chemistry, sediment geochemistry and environmental tracing.To be successful in this position you must have: - Demonstrated expert knowledge and substantial experience in laboratory quality management and accreditation systems as per NATA and ISO17025 requirements related to Analytical chemistry.- Demonstrated experience and comprehensive knowledge of Workplace Health & Safety legislation and current procedures pertaining to laboratory safety and Safety management systems.- Demonstrated high-level expertise and knowledge in the laboratory best practices and techniques, method development and instrument operation with respect to chemical and physical analysis, and safe work practices.- Demonstrated advanced level of initiative and ability to work unsupervised.- Demonstrated advanced level of oral and written communication skills.
