What are we looking for
We are looking for a QA Manager for our Production Facility in Batchelor NT.
This role could also suit somebody who is currently a QA Officer looking to step up into a QA Manager Position.

Key Responsibilities:
- Implement/enforce requirements for all SOP's relevant for Halal, DAFF and HACCP programs
- Assist in training employees and supervisory staff
- Lead internal audits and audits by external stakeholders including Department of Agriculture, customers and food safety regulators
- Working closely with the Group compliance team, investigating food safety complaints and providing a safe work environment
- Maintaining an effective QA program within a top tier food safety environment
- Provide advice to Senior Management on compliance issues
- Have responsibility for QA program
- Write procedures, programs and processes in compliance with all relevant food safety programs.
- Manage document control process for the site
About you
Ideal applicant will possess the following
- High level of computer literacy using Microsoft office suite and relevant documentation systems
- Knowledge of quality systems in a food manufacturing environment
- Experience managing a high performing team
- FMCG background and experience, HACCP, GFSI and food safety
Preferable skills/knowledge
- Meat industry experience knowledge
- Possession of AUS-MEAT Qualifications
- Ability to provide detailed reports to external and internal stakeholders
