About the Opportunity
- Preparing Quality Control (QC) documents for production and conducting QC testing including Micro Testing on Raw Materials, Bulk, and Finished products
- Perform hourly line inspections including testing, quality checks, and implementing corrective actions
- Release incoming goods, including packaging and raw materials & facilitating the release of outgoing finished products.
- Print and issue shipper labels as needed, adhering to SOP's
- Ensure accurate setup of production lines, verifying weights, packaging, labels, etc.
- Maintain consistency in packaging standards, including seals on tube products.
- Daily quality activities including line walks, product releases, monitoring retention samples, and issuing quality documentation
- Ensure all quality checks comply with regulatory requirements and internal quality standards
- Work efficiently to perform quality checks without holding up the production process.
- Work closely with the production team to address any quality issues.
- Identify opportunities for improving quality control processes and work with management to implement changes.
Required Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a science-based discipline that includes studies in microbiology.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in Quality Assurance.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, quality control, and production management software and tools.
- Ability to analyze complex issues and develop innovative solutions.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage resources, schedules, and priorities effectively.
- Working Knowledge of safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements in the manufacturing industry.
This role is ideal for people living in the North Shore of Sydney/Central Coast area who have worked in the Quality Department in the Manufacturing/Food/FMCG industry before!
