The Opportunity

Due to continuous growth HenderCare has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Quality Auditor to join our team! Working under relative autonomy, you will be responsible for ensuring HenderCare meets its obligations for compliance against all frameworks that govern our operations by conducting all our ad hoc and scheduled internal audits.

About the Role

The Quality Auditor will support the Head of Governance, Risk and Compliance in partnering with external stakeholders who conduct external audits and provide significant support during the audit to ensure compliance is maintained with existing measures. As part of this position, you will also support with technical writing to support through business analysis, reports and policy and procedure writing. 

In addition to this some other responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Performing comprehensive ad-hoc and scheduled internal audits to assess compliance with regulatory frameworks and organisational policies.
  • Collaborate with different departments and roles within HenderCare to gather necessary information, offer guidance, and support compliance initiatives.
  • Assist the Head of GRC in engaging with external stakeholders, conducting audits, ensuring smooth audit procedures, and maintaining compliance with established measures.
  • Provide assistance in business analysis activities, tender writing, and contributing to the creation of reports, policies, and procedures to uphold compliance standards.
  • Monitor and track compliance measures, identify areas for improvement, and recommend corrective actions as needed to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Participate in refining internal audit methodologies and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
About You

As the Quality Auditor you must have proven experience in internal auditing, compliance, or quality assurance roles, preferably in the healthcare sector. You will also need a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and organisational practices. 

You will also bring:

  • Analytical mindset with keen attention to detail to identify compliance gaps and propose solutions.
  • Proficiency in technical writing with an expereince in drafting reports, policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or a related field will be advantageous
  • Certification as a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP).
