Ananda Aged Care is a unique family-owned and operated Aged Care provider located in metropolitan Adelaide. Our Findon home supports 69 amazing residents in a beautiful home-like environment. We accommodate residents from various backgrounds, many with complex health care needs, palliative care, dementia or cognitive impairment.Ananda understands that the Aged Care environment is evolving as we continue to strive for high standards in the delivery of care and residents and staff satisfaction as one of the critical drivers for our continued success.Ananda is currently looking for dynamic and motivated Quality Care Leader with a passion for working in Aged Care to join our incredible team. Actively working with staff, residents, families, and stakeholders to ensure an individualized approach to achieve resident focused outcomes. Ananda is dedicated to training and has a comprehensive educational platform in place focusing on resident focused care with “on site” clinical workshops.
Qualifications & experience
- The successful candidate will have the following skills, attributes and experiences:
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent including current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Demonstrated current experience as a Clinical Nurse
- Minimum three years experience working in aged care
- Extensive knowledge of the aged care industry, current aged care standards, accreditation and auditing processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Current police check
- COVID and flu vaccinations - mandatory
Tasks & responsibilities
- Thorough understanding of the quality and business drivers across the aged care sector including sound knowledge of: ACQSC, AN-ACC and Quality and Safety
- Clinical Governance
- Monitor and evaluate incident management reporting including SIRS notifications
- Measure, analyse and monitor clinical indicator data results to support clinical staff driving improvements in the delivery of care
- In collaboration with the Resident, Representatives, Clinical and Care team develop, monitor and implement nursing care plans and undertake ongoing assessments
- Work as a member of the clinical team contributing to the clinical and quality outcomes for our residents
- Support Director of Nursing ensuring regulatory compliance
- Develop and implement Continuous Improvement opportunities
