Role Overview:
As an Entry-Level Payroll Officer at Hilton Foods APAC, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for multiple sites. Your responsibilities will include handling new starters, employee changes, reconciliations, and providing expert payroll advice to key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Processing: Handle payroll for multiple sites on a weekly and ad-hoc basis, ensuring compliance with relevant Awards, Agreements, Legislation, and company policies.
- Confidentiality and Accuracy: Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and accuracy in all payroll operations.
- Stakeholder Support: Provide both onsite and remote support to key stakeholders, efficiently resolving payroll queries.
- Cross-Training: Cross-train across different sites and agreements to ensure sustainability and business protection.
- Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with leaders, coaching them on payroll functions and the Kronos Workforce Ready system.
- Inbox Management: Manage the Payroll Inbox, record adjustments, and deliver training on the Kronos Workforce Ready system.
- Adherence to Policies: Strictly adhere to company policies, processes, and procedures.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives with innovative ideas.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in payroll administration, with a solid understanding of Awards, Agreements, and Legislation.
- Proficiency in the Kronos Workforce Ready system and payroll processes.
- Exceptional attention to detail, confidentiality, and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both in a team and independently.
- Prior experience in a similar role within the food processing or related industry is advantageous.
